The Role
As EMEA Tax Specialist you will be part of Global Grass Valley Tax team, where you will manage the tax compliance process of different Grass Valley legal entities in EMEA region. The role reports directly to Grass Valley Tax Director.
Manages the tax compliance process of Grass Valley companies in EMEA region
Designs and implement necessary procedures to ensure the correctness and efficiency of tax compliance
Is actively involved in preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and relevant processes
Ensures the correct accounting for income taxes for the group reporting in US GAAP
Identifies and manages implementation of tax incentives, including R&D tax credit
Supports the pre-sales functions to come up with tax-optimized solutions and provides ongoing tax advice to the business
Provides support by the tax audits in EMEA region
Monitors changes in tax regulations, active involvement in implementation of appropriate improvements as well as research complex tax questions
Supports local and global projects from tax perspective
What you’ll need to be successful
Higher education in relevant field: Accounting /Finance/Economics/Law
2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
Proven tax knowledge and familiar to work with other jurisdictions
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated business-oriented approach and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Continuous improvement mindset and pro-active attitude
Excellent sense of organization, precision and detail
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
Ability to work in a global and intercultural environment
