Job Description

To perform this job successfully, the Technical Documenter must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

* Analyze and document existing manual business processes and workflows.

* Identify opportunities for automation and recommend solutions using Power Automate.

* Extract detailed information and ask pertinent questions to ensure thorough documentation between the technical team and business stakeholders.

* Ability to create materials for both end user (less technical) consumption as well as materials for business owner (more technical) consumption.

* Provide research to develop and document business cases.

* Create clear and concise process and procedure documents.

* Collaborate closely with the PMO Communications team and business analysts.

* Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.

* Analyze existing content and determine what needs to be updated.

* Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and documentation.

* Create and maintain information architecture.

* Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information.

* Quickly grasp complex technical concepts and document them in easily understandable text and pictures.

* Understanding of grammatical conventions.

* Write in a clear and concise manner.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

* Proven experience in business process analysis and documentation.

* Strong written communication skills.

* Familiarity with automation tools like Power Automate is preferred.

* Proficiency in Visio and Excel is essential.

* Strong knowledge of the Microsoft products.

* Bachelor's degree desired.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

* Ability to edit all technical material for consistency and accuracy.

* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* 2 to 4 years of experience in writing technical documentation.
