Job Description

[PTI [is an established manufacturing company that specializes in the manufacture of innovative asphalt and aggregate sampling and testing equipment. We are seeking [a qualified individual [to work in [our [manufacturing dept and travel to machine locations in laboratories.   • Manufacturing and Assembling Asphalt Testing Equipment from beginning to end.
  • Ability to meet an established completion date on multiple projects
  • Ability to read blueprints (electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Have a working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, etc.
  • Ability to build electrical panels, perform general electrical wiring, and do electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to install motors, pumps, cylinders, etc. and all components needed to complete testing equipment
  • Ability to utilize a computer, load software, and run tests with equipment utilizing a computer
  • Ability to evaluate the quality of workmanship on equipment, and ensure product meets all required quality requirements prior to shipment
  • Available to travel to Customers Sites for New Equipment Training, Upgrades, Retrofits, General Service/Calibration and Maintenance.
  • This position would report directly to the Engineer over Operations
  • Welding Experience (Tig and Mig) would also be helpful, But not mandatory.
  • Current drivers license
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent.
  • Good References for verifiable experience in one or more of the qualifying skill sets.
