Amazon Business Development Manager, Hub Delivery in Coslada, Spain

Description

Our last-mile team is looking for a dynamic and well-organized Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for recruiting new business partners for Hub Delivery. You will foster strong partnerships with local community leaders along with our operational teams. This is an opportunity to be part of a new and quickly growing environment that is focused on improving the delivery experience for our customers in Urban and Rural areas of Spain.

The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems and processes and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusion to take action when are needed. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations. The candidate will be comfortable in working by objectives.

This role is a People Manager role that will lead a field team of Account Development Executives.

Key job responsibilities

• Proactively source store owners interested in the project

• Acquire new partners through driving referrals through community leaders, hosting events at the local and station levels, and performing in person visits

• Familiarize yourself with the region where you will recruit partners and craft a strategy based on your local knowledge

• Setting proper expectations with leads to ensure they’re setup for success

• Partner with internal teams to facilitate solutions on behalf of our partners to improve their experience

• Work closely with Onboarding, Account Management and Marketing teams, ensuring regular communications on partner pipeline and target achievement.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of your time

Basic Qualifications

• A degree

• Relevant experience in Sales/Business development roles

• Experience personally closing deals end-to-end

• Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment

• Relevant experience in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers, cross-functional teams and leadership

• Relevant experience in connecting with partners and building relationships

• Advanced proficiency in written and verbal in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in working with CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipeline, build customized reporting and provide routine performance updates

• Relevant experience in meeting deadlines, managing multiple priorities and working independently in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
