Prime Healthcare Physician - Surgical Center- Per-Diem in Coshocton, Ohio

Overview

Coshocton Regional Medical Center is seeking a board-certified general surgeon to join its surgical department and work on a per-diem basis. General duties will includeperforming surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease, deformities, and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols. Candidates are expected to follow established surgical techniques during surgery, prescribe preoperative and postoperative treatment and procedures and ensure sterility in the operating room, and all equipment and instruments. You will also direct and coordinate activities of hospital staff for proper patient care, oversee all treatment prior to and post-surgery, and identify associated risks withile maintaining the highest regard for patient dignity

• Per diem position for general surgeon with experience• Must be board certified• Flexible; per diem call coverage• 1 weekend/month• No clinic coverage• 7a-7a• Perform bread and butter procedures• Average 20 cases/mo 9volume determined by ED and inpatient volume)• CRNA anesthesia on call

Qualifications

  • Dynamic people skills with strong focus on customer service, patient experience, and quality care.

  • Previous general surgery experience.

  • Board certification required.
