Minimum/Required Qualifications Demonstrated action and/or commitment to foster equity, diversity, and inclusion in education. BA or BS in Education, a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related Field or STEM education Experience working or volunteering with K-12 students, Teachers/Educators, and or undergraduate students at a teaching, mentoring and/or tutoring capacity for 1 or more years. Ability to perform independently with minimum supervision Experience planning logistics for a successful event, project, program. Demonstrated success in working as a member of a collaborative team from diverse backgrounds. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving. Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal communications skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong commitment to promote youth protection efforts in all program activities. Proficient use of computers, utilizing email, and searching and retrieving information through the Web, and Microsoft Suite. Position Duties 60% Leadership, oversight, and direction of Campus Field Trips and Beaver Hangouts Programs 30% Leadership, oversight, and direction of the Student Outreach Assistant (SOA) Program 5% Coordinate Discovering the Scientist Within (DSW) Program 5% Other program supporting activities and duties as assigned by the Director and/or Associate Director.
