Redding Reloading Equipment is seeking a motivated and highly detail oriented, individual for the job of finish polishing metal parts at its Cortland, NY facility. The position demands a high degree of accuracy, a quality centric orientation and requires a person with very good manual dexterity. The job is fast paced and overtime may be available at times. The position consists of four, 10-hour days Monday thru Thursday,7:00 Am to 5:30PM with 5 hours on Friday for overtime when required. Hourly wage is commensurate with experience, and after a probationary period, the company offers, paid vacations and holidays plus a high-level benefits package with excellent health care with dental, eye care benefit, short term disability insurance, life insurance and a unique retirement benefit. The position encompasses a 4-day work week with no weekend work. An employee discount program is available and is very generous. The facility is heated in winter and fully air conditioned in summer. The job has limited lifting and can be a sit-down operation while polishing operations are ongoing. No relocation package is available, and the company would like the applicant to located be in Central NY, near Cortland and have adequate transportation. The company holds an FFL and therefore individuals must be able to pass a NICS check to be employed. This precludes anyone convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
