Our mission is to advocate for and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement.SUMMARY: The Direct Support Professional provides self-care training and assistance in daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group home setting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provides individualized care as outlined in the individuals Life Plan, or ISP. Assists Individuals in the primary activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, cooking, cleaning) as outlined in individual's ISP to promote independence. Maintains files and produces service notes and documentation on assigned caseload. Documents and submits reports to the program as outlined in the assigned department.
