Vali Incorporated Warehouse Specialist in Corpus Christi, Texas
Vali is seeking highly organized and detailed-orientedWarehouse Specialist. This individual will perform a variety of warehouse duties that will requires an understanding of the customer's storage plan.
Responsibilities
- Verifying materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages;
- Routing materials to specific storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods;
- Rearranging and tracking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing for shipment.
- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Proper handling and storage of materials, and implement necessary safety measures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have basic computer knowledge for Data Entry and use of Microsoft Outlook.
- 2 years of experience in professional environment or equivalent experience through education, is desired.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Acceptably manage customer contact.
- Regard all company information as proprietary.
Physical environment/working conditions:
- The position is in warehouse environment and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
Equipment and Machinery used:
- Hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, plastic sealers, etc.
- Mayuse hand or power tools and equipment as needed.
