The Minka Operations Manager will set direction and guide continuous improvement in sales operations, facility management, technology, logistics, and all other areas of the location. The Operations Manager will supervise day-to-day activities, ensure overall performance, manage schedules, and develop an operational action plan.

Position Details

  • Reports to President

  • $20+M in inventory, 200+ associates

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations and develops, implements, and reviews operational policies and procedures.

  • Assists their direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.

  • Manage multiple areas with multiple priorities and multiple collaborators every day.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management team.

  • Understand the overarching company strategy and communicate the organization's core values to create a sense of collaboration and membership among employees.

  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

  • Perform quality controls and supervise production KPIs.

  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.

  • Oversee processes to find areas of improvement.

  • Hire, onboard, and train warehouse staff

  • Ensure warehouse operation is managed with efficiency and success.

  • Handle inventory control in our warehouse

  • Build relationships with our customers and associates.

  • Develop objectives, policies, and procedures for sales operations.

  • Lead all aspects of Bradford display and paint shop departments

  • Operational support for Minka physical showrooms located in Dallas, TX, Concord, NC and Bradford, CA.

  • Make moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance the performance of the job area leveraging IT.

  • Consult managers of operations associates around activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluation of staff performance.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and equivalent work experience will be considered.

  • 5+ years of proven experience handling inventory/operational tasks

  • 5+ years of leadership / supervisory / management experience is required.

  • Successful demonstration of technical and analytical abilities

  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities

  • Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team.

  • A working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations

  • A willingness to learn and being able to go the extra mile is a must.

$5,692.50 - $12,402.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
