General Mechanic:

  • Must be able to use basic hand and power tools with limited instruction and supervision

  • Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints

  • Have working knowledge of drill and tap sizes and proper technique for drilling of different types of materials, using electric, pneumatic or battery hand drills and tools

  • Install sub-components per direction/instruction and in accordance with blueprints or drawings and Operational Methods Standards

  • Knowledge of and proper use of torqueing devices for industrial purposes

  • Previous experience in such jobs as: mechanic, automechanic, fabricator, assembler, handyman, welder, machinist, fitter, pipefitter, journeyman, carpenter, millwright, technician, electrician, etc
