POSITION DESCRIPTION

As the Director Saudi Olefins Technology Center for the Olefins Product Line (PSL), you will be responsible for leading business development and project execution for Olefins Projects within KSA.

Job duties include developing, implementing, and achieving the strategic and annual growth plans and associated budgets for Olefins Technologies.

Your responsibilities include the development and implementation of the Product Line growth strategy, yearly operational objectives, organizational structure and staffing to ensure the right mix of talent for the offering range which includes licensed technology, basic engineering design, proprietary equipment, etc. Will need to build out execution team upon arrival.

This role is responsible for all area functions including business planning, quarterly plan execution, business forecasting, staff development, staff management and recruitment. The role will also work closely with the ME Sales organization to develop appropriate strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required, MBA preferred

• 15+ years’ experience, 5 of which should be in a management assignment.

• 7+ Experience in Olefins Technologies and the broader Industry. Experience specifying technical offerings and/or processing engineering services required covering Feasibility Studies and Basic Engineering Design Packages

• Proven Profit & Loss (P & L) experience selling technology, engineering services, equipment, software, automation, etc. is required.

• Seeking a candidate with international work background in Europe, Middle East & Africa

• Seeking someone with experience and ability to develop and manage a staff of 8-10 direct, indirect reports

• Must be willing and available to travel up to 20%, as needed.

• Experience in public presentation at Industry conferences.
