These are the behaviors and values you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:

  • Research and develop new technologies related with color, material, finishing to meet specific product requirements and performance standards

  • Deliver new technology research/exploration roadmap by closely work engineering, design and business teams

  • Conduct the comprehensive material characterization, testing, and analysis to evaluate properties

  • Build the prototyping capabilities to demonstrate the new ideas in European area

  • Drive and coordinate the new technology development and implementation

  • Provide the training internal (CMF team) and external (other groups) require

Key Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Nice to have BS/BA degree in mechanical, chemical or material engineering and sciences

  • Curiosity and hunger to learn

  • A curiosity for new CMF innovation, technology, process, design and future living

  • Proficiency in the latest materials, finishes and various manufacturing processes

  • Understand product marketing basic, business and innovation methodology

  • Willing to get hands dirty by going-out to interact with suppliers, manufacturers, etc., in order to drive to a solution

  • 3 years experience of Color, material (plastic, metal, fabric, etc.) and finishing experience (painting, anodizing, etc.)

  • Proficient knowledge of various manufacturing processes (injection molding, extrusion, stamping) is a benefit for the innovation of new processes and new materials

  • Good communication skills

  • Great with teamwork projects

  • Mature problem-solving skills on complex technical issues

  • Project management skills to drive the new technology development

  • Ability to travel (Europe and far east)
