McAfee, Inc. Information Security Compliance Specialist - Remote in Cork, Ireland
Role Overview:
The Information Security Compliance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the implementation of McAfee's security controls company-wide. Responsibilities include conducting targeted security audits, monitoring McAfee's cloud security posture, and collaborating with stakeholders across the enterprise to remediate any security findings. The Compliance Specialist will work closely with stakeholders across the enterprise, forging strong partnerships to drive collective efforts in remediating any security findings. Through proactive engagement and consultation with various teams and departments, they will facilitate the swift resolution of identified issues, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities while upholding the highest standards of security and compliance
This is a remote position in Ireland. We will only consider candidates currently in Ireland and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the Role:
Develop a cloud security posture management framework.
Monitor McAfee's cloud environments for security misconfigurations.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to remediate any security issues identified.
Create actionable reporting and provide reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct targeted security audits and work with internal and external stakeholders to remediate any issues.
Support McAfee's compliance certification programs.
About You:
Ideal candidates will have 4-5 years of experience in the same field.
Ability to conduct thorough security audits, including risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, to identify and evaluate security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
Knowledge of cloud computing principles and best practices, with specific focus on cloud security controls, configurations, and monitoring tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive security initiatives and remediation efforts.
Strong project management skills and experience in managing security projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on project progress and outcomes.
