To meet the growing demand for Accounting Services in EMEA, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people to join our Compliance team in Cork.

Key job responsibilities

• Review of statutory financial statements under various local GAAPs (mainly under IFRS)

• Coordination of statutory audits across multiple geographies in EMEA

• Actively participating in improvement initiatives, standardization, re-engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices

• Preparation and review of periodic statutory financial data for internal reporting

• Demonstrating strong technical accounting skills required in order to arrive to and document accounting conclusions

• Managing and coordinating the filing of statutory financial statements

• Review and approval of statistical returns across multiple geographies

• Working with various cross-functional stakeholders to maintain efficient and compliant statutory reporting processes

• Proactively participating in supporting current and future business launch initiatives and other projects

• Being a key contributor to cross-functional, European and global projects and initiatives, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization

• Reviewing monthly US GAAP close in respect of multiple legal entities

• Demonstrating excellent project management abilities and strong understanding of financial accounting systems

• Coaching and development of other team members

Basic Qualifications

  • Significant experience with financial reporting and audit, preferably gained within a Big Four firm.

  • Knowledge of IFRS or other accounting frameworks

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Accounting professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical competency in excel

  • Knowledge of other accounting solutions

  • SQL/Alteryx & Oracle
