PM, 40 Hours/Week - Corporate office hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with possibility of limited overtime hours

The Treasury Operations Specialist will be tasked with facilitating the resolution of delinquent customer AR balances, particularly disputed sales tax matters, analyzing and gaining approval for the release of orders on credit hold, preparing monthly AR account status files for management review, and Ensuring J-SOX critical control objectives are achieved.

[Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):]{.underline}

  • * Request and process new customer credit applications to evaluate and provide recommendations to management for the establishment of customer credit limits.
  • * Perform annual review, evaluation, and update of current customer credit limits by reviewing historical experience, D&B credit information, and consideration of other factors. Ensure approvals are performed, documented, and filed in accordance with Kuraray critical control procedures.
  • * Facilitate the efficient resolution of customer disputed sales tax matters by communicating and collaborating with the customer and our company's Tax Department, Credit Collection Specialists, Customer Service Representatives, and /or Technical Sales Representatives.
  • * Prepare Americas Region monthly AR aging and AR Reserve analyses and analytical commentary for management review and approval. Ensure approvals are performed, documented, and filed in accordance with Kuraray critical control procedures.
  • * Accurately process customer credit card payment requests and the preparation of credit card receipts log.
  • * Manage the issuance of new corporate credit cards to employees ensuring documented management approval and employee understanding of appropriate card usage is obtained and ensure T&E policy is provided and signed acceptance is returned. Manage the distribution of new and replacement cards to employees. Accurately update approved employee credit card credit limits in online bank system in a timely manner.
  • * Become a capable back-up to the AP Finance Specialist for processing Check, ACH and Wire Transfer vendor payments, and the AR Collections Specialists with respect to reviewing and releasing orders from credit hold.
  • * Perform ad-hoc assignments and/or analyses related to commonly used financial concepts, practices, and procedures for Finance department and business unit management.

Qualifications

  • * Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required
  • * Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is preferred
  • * 3-5 years Accounts Receivable, Collections, and / or Credit departments is required
  • * 5-7 years Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit departments, and / or treasury operations is preferred
  • * Intermediate skill level with Microsof Office products, particularly excel, is preferred
  • * SAP knowledge is preferred
