The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing the eCommerce fulfillment budget, forecast, and close reporting. This individual would also execute ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions for eCommerce fulfillment and Supply Chain.

The position requires an understanding of financial statements, the ability to develop financial models, creating cross-functional relationships, and excellent communication skills.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Company planning targets and budget.

  • Analyze variances vs budget and historical results to develop driver explanations

  • Partner with the business to identify forecast trends, risks, and opportunities and next steps to implement change

Reporting &Monthly Close

  • Compile, validate and summarize financial information

  • Complete management reporting in support of our financial close cycle and quarterly earnings announcements.

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain business drivers for monthly business reviews

Financial Analysis

  • Work with complex, driver-based, flexible financial models to provide scenario and what-if analytics.

  • Execute ad-hoc analytics to support short and mid-term strategies. Communicate financial and operations findings to Management, including recommendations and next steps.

  • Participate in cross-functional special projects where a Finance perspective is required or requested by Management; review and communicate financial impacts of business decisions.

  • Proactively analyze financials to improve profitability

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree-MBA/CPA a plus

  • 5-7 Years of Experience

  • Prefer knowledge of MS Excel, PeopleSoft Financials and Hyperion
