Dick's Sporting Goods Senior Data Engineer - Enterprise Data Warehouse (SDE-SKK) in CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania

Design and develop tables and views to support reporting, analytics, and data science initiatives using tools such as Qlik, Power BI, and MicroStrategy. Build ETL/ELT data pipelines to transform data from source to target databases using tools such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle. Develop supporting documentation such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow. Conduct performance tuning of existing processes and SQL query optimization using modern techniques. Build data quality checks to ensure data accuracy in the ETL/ELT processes. Design and develop data feeds for internal product teams and external vendors. Develop a deeper understanding of company data and act as a Subject Matter Expert for specific domains. Provide production support for existing processes within the Data Warehouse team. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. 

Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field followed by 5 years of progressive related experience. Employer will accept Master's degree and 2 years of related experience in lieu of BS+5.
