Description

As a Senior IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the IT department's operations and strategies within our organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, and implementing technology solutions to support the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including IT administrators, engineers, and support staff.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

IT End User Support Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT Support infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, and help desk.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Technology Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to support their operations.

Project Management:

  • Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and allocate resources accordingly.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues and ensure successful project outcomes.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and service level agreements.

  • Evaluate vendor products and services to ensure they meet the company's requirements and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in IT management, with a track record of leading successful IT projects and teams.

  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and security.

  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices, compliance standards, and regulations related to IT.

Starting hourly rate for this position is $140,000 - $196,000 per year. Individual offers will take into consideration experience, location, and budget.
