Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Assistant Manager

Job Status: Year Round Full Time

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,923.07 to $3,153.84+ biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:

Works with the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and Fleet & Transportation Senior Manager to oversee the strategic direction of the Vehicle Maintenance and Warehouse departments. Supervises the daily workflow of the Vehicle Maintenance Department, including the administration of all maintenance work, the communication and scheduling of work both inside and outside the department, providing staff with maximum safe equipment availability with minimized cost.

Basic Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Must have a valid US Driver's License High School degree or equivalent Bending, reaching, climbing Pushing/Pulling Prolonged standing Confined sitting Eye/hand coordination Visual concentration on equipment Concentrated reading and writing Rapid reaction to physical changes (operating equipment) Extended periods of outdoor exposure Extreme cold Extreme heat and sun exposure Variation in temperature from hot to cold Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

Combination of five years of experience in the fields of master mechanics and welding with additional experience and knowledge in basic computer, supervisory, and management techniques. Additional experience and knowledge in basic computer skills, supervision, and management techniques. Snowcat experience preferred. Trade school graduate and three years on-the-job training or an Associate's Degree in Vehicle Maintenance Management. Supervisory Skills --2+ years of experience. Must be able to obtain a valid Colorado CDL driver's license. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word and Excel.
