Location - Coos Bay/North Bend The Supervisor - Janitorial ensures the daily operations of the BAE job sites under their supervision run smoothly. This individual is tasked with understanding the importance of attention to detail, critical thinking, and dedication to learning in the field of janitorial services. In addition, the Supervisor - Janitorial has the following responsibilities: Work as a team member in accomplishing the needs of BAE customers which may include, but is not limited to: carpet cleaning, hard floor care, janitorial cleaning duties, site inspections and training co-workers. Maintains expert knowledge of each Scope of Work (SOW) for every site in assigned area. Maintains a high level of service by inspecting buildings at least monthly. Reports service issues to management. Covers unassigned shifts and call offs for buildings in assigned area if coverage is unavailable. Cleans in each building periodically to maintain practical knowledge of each site. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies as requested. Represents BAE in a professional manner in customer service, appearance and attitude. This position is responsible for understanding, communicating, following and enforcing company policies, processes and procedures. Responds to Business Operations Manager as needed. This position may include routine direct supervision of other employees. He or she may also be called upon to act as a job coach when a need arises. May be assigned after hours phone responsibilities. All other duties as assigned to ensure that the department and organizational strategic goals and mission are met.
