Mom's Meals Senior IT Business Analyst in Conyers, Georgia

Position SummaryAs a Senior Business Analyst within our IT department, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, define requirements, and drive the successful delivery of IT solutions. You will leverage your expertise in business analysis, process improvement, and technology to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.

This position can be hybrid, but needs to be local to the Des Moines, IA/surrounding area to work onsite as needed.

  • Participate in full life-cycle software development following agile methodologies with IT Project Manager and development teams

  • Analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes

  • Work with developers to ensure requirements are documented and implemented correctly

  • Prioritize enhancements and small projects based on business needs and company strategic initiatives

  • Develop business UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cases that reflect the business requirements

  • Develop documentation and training materials as required

  • Assess business process and system inefficiencies to identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction

  • Conduct demos or training necessary for the successful execution of the project

  • Provide advice and guidance to others in the technology solution and inform best practices

  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulate ideas and viewpoints to management, peers, and others; identify and initiate projects; manage resources; drive the resolution of issues; and hold self and team accountable for results

  • Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focus on quality improvement and data management; ensure data is reliable and valid; develop process improvements or re-engineer and recommend elimination; integrate new systems and processes with existing ones; and partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies

  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; and adapt to competing demands,

  • Provide project-level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use stories, future state proposals)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent experience and IT certifications may be considered in lieu of education

  • Proven experience of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT projects and systems.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and technology solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation

  • Experience with data analysis and mapping

  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship-building skills & communication skills

  • Experience with Agile development methodology

  • Effective meeting management skills to initiate, develop agenda, conduct, and communicate decisions

  • Strong attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Healthcare or manufacturing industry experience

  • Certification(s) in Business Analysis and/or Project Management

  • Experience with requirement/issue management systems, like Azure Dev Ops

  • Knowledge of development and SQL coding

  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O

  • Knowledge of Salesforce
