Description:

The Maintenance Tech is an important part of the manufacturing department and reports directly to the Plant Manager. This position will be responsible for the overall mechanical, electrical, robotic and preventative maintenance of the manufacturing facility.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and adjustments

• Ability to safely work with voltages: 12V single phase to 460V three phase

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC/Robotics/Programming issues

• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC

• Preventative maintenance and lubrication practices

• Ability to troubleshoot gearboxes, motors, servo motors, servo drives, proximity and photo eyes, power supplies, bearings, linear rails, chains, sprockets, seals, and power transmission drives/components

• Work from mechanical drawings, specifications and manuals

• Ability to source/procure equipment parts as needed

• Ability to fabricate needed fixturing, or manage outsourcing when needed

• Experience in leading maintenance teams, EHS improvements, project management

• Experience in robot integration, automation and robot preventive maintenance

• Ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery a plus

• Follow all safety requirements and processes of the manufacturing facility

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision and work as a team player
