CVS Health Senior FPA Consultant in Connecticut
Support the Student Health Finance team with month close financial reporting and forecasting/planning processes. Assume ownership of the Student Health Premium and Membership reporting and actively support management reporting and analysis. You must be highly organized with expertise in Excel and pulling together various data elements from different sources into reporting requirements. Create summary results decks with commentary for membership, income statements, and organizational achievements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including deep dives into actuals compared to plan and forecast. Supports the SOX (internal) and E&Y (external) audits by attending walk through meetings and gathering the supporting documentation for the premium audits to support the balance sheet presentation of the Health Care Benefits Division.• Responsible for owning and managing the monthly close files for school year premium and reconciliation • Analyzing and resolve all premium sources (Voluntary enrollment site, collection of premiums, school analytic files) • Develop budget/forecasting models per forecasting cycle liaise with actuary, account management, underwriting • Back up responsibility for monthly membership process • Maintain standard operating procedures and controls• The role is responsible for monthly, yearly reporting of earned premium reporting in the financial statements and supports the SOX (internal) and E&Y (external) audits by attending walk through meetings and gathering the supporting documentation for the premium audits to support the Health Care Benefits P&L and BS.
