Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $20 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Machine Operator:
Setting up and operating machines needed to build products based on work orders and supervisor's instructions
Inspecting products for defects and machines for malfunctions
Maintain a safe and clean work space
Follow established safety rules and GMPs
Available shifts:
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Education:
- Minimum grade 10
Related Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years related automotive experience
Related Work Experience/Skills/Job Requirements:
Must have own transportation
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and/or in a team environment
Must be able to work all shifts
Must be able to work in a dusty and dirty environment
Must be able to read, speak and write English
Basic Math skills
Must learn ERP system (PLEX) as required
Must have an understanding of machine functionality and basic mechanical skills
Safety
Must abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations
Must abide by all Safety Policies and Procedures
Must abide by the Environmental Policy along with the “3R” (reduce, reuse and recycle) procedures
Must always report all unsafe acts
Must participate in plant meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Must complete all requirements as outlined in the HR Training Matrix, HRS-F001
Must contribute to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 6S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize, support and safety) are supported and adhered to.

Must adhere to all customer requirements as required
Must always report all quality deficiencies
Day to Day Duties
Ability to run assigned machine
Understand fundamentals of machine
Understand specific quality of parts being produced
Monitor quality of parts and follow outlined process WCS-PRO-P002
Must participate in plant meetings and continuous improvement
Promote team environment and working together
Other responsibilities assigned by management
