What You’ll Be Doing:
As part of the Evolent Specialty Analytics team, you will be using your quantitative skills to work on a specific project designed to create value for a set of Evolent stakeholders. You will own the planning and creation of a final deliverable that meaningfully responds to those stakeholders’ needs.
You will have daily contact with the Senior Vice-President, Analytics, and the other members of the Specialty Analytics team. You will also meet with key leaders across the different Specialty Care segments of Evolent.
We are seeking candidates with a strong desire to learn along with professional drive. The candidates should demonstrate effective communication, organizational, and strategic problem-solving skills and be able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry and firm.
The Experience You’ll Need (Required):
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship
Strong academic track record
Background in Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Engineering, or similar quantitative area of study
Experience with one or more open-source statistical tool sets, e.g., R, Scikit-learn.
Passion for improving health care delivery and patient outcomes
Prior experience with healthcare data, e.g., enrollment, medical and pharmacy claims, is desirable but not required.
Technical Requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $18.00, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
