About this role:

Carrier Rentals Systems provides year-round solutions for temperature & humidity control, ventilation & filtration along with power generation & electrical distribution to commercial & industrial markets by renting HVAC equipment. These solutions support emergency breakdowns, planned outages, equipment retrofits, increasing production capacity, and plant expansions

The National Equipment Coordinator provides oversight and support to all rental locations throughout the United States. The role is a support role that aids National Operations in carrying out daily duties regarding fleet and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run daily reports and document data regarding fleet readiness.

  • Meet monthly with all locations to ensure resources are available for maintaining the rental fleet.

  • Maintains construction in progress (CIP) spreadsheets and aids the accounting team in reconciliation and proper asset valuation.

  • CAPEX Purchasing and Coordination

  • Dispersing new equipment

  • Updating Finance and Accounting forecasts for CAPEX

  • Approval of equipment transfers

  • M3 IT solutions

  • Coordinator training

  • Project management (new and refurbished equipment)

  • Assumes a lead role in managing equipment movements during significant weather events or natural disasters.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 5+ years managing HVAC systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • in a similar operational role with experience in INFOR M3 systems

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral).

  • Ability to adapt and react in a very fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Experience in a rental’s operations preferred

  • A two-year degree is preferred but not required.
