SYNNEX Corporation Warehouse Associate - Bundling Lead in Columbus, Ohio

About the Role: This position will lead, train and mentor new/existing employees through the direction of work and allocation of tasks in multiple functions within the Logistics Center (i.e. receiving, shipping, inventory control and/or slotting of Logistics Work Orders). Acts as a liaison for the Manager to employees while providing administrative and technical support. Utilizes a Warehouse Management system, TD SYNNEX programs and all necessary equipment to troubleshoot issues involving order and product flow, and identify potential root causes. Positively supports continuous improvement initiatives (i.e. utilizing Lean Sigma techniques, updating SOP's, developing & implementing solutions). Pay: $21.50/hr. Shift: 9am-5:30pm What You'll Do: Delegates work and tasks to various teams and/or departments, such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, slotting, etc. within the Logistics Center Adjusts to work-flowneeds by rotating self, employees and /or assigned workers from function to function. Provides technical support to employees and communicates across all levels within the Logistics Center. Acts as an extension of the manager and provides performance feedback to management on employees. Responds to questions and provide solutions, are known as the "knowledge base" of information. Proficiently utilized a Warehouse Management System for work-flow. Acts as a SME; trains/mentors employees. May be required to operatematerial handling equipment with prior training provided. Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives (i.e. Lean Sigma, Kaizen events, ISO, etc). Maintains and promotes a safe and clean working environment Additional duties as assigned Meets attendance and punctuality standards What You'll Do: Shipping, receiving and/or inventory control, integration work order flow, etc. Internal candidates: Minimum of two (3) years high volume Logistics and/or Logistics Center warehouse experience warehouse experience. Must be able to demonstrateworking knowledge of Logistics functions such as SAP-WMS, SOP's, External candidates: minimum of five (5) years high volume Logistics Center warehouse experience outlined above. Lead Experience Preferred Education/Certifications: Preferred: Associate Degree Required: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
