What you'll do * Administratively maintain lifecycle data with HRIS database. * May aid in the administration of compensation and benefit plans. * Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives. * Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace. * Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies. * Support tasks around performance management. * Assist with gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates. * Help maintain employee files and records. Who you are * Available to begin work on January 6, 2025 * Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided. * As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required. * Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices. * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education * Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business. * Currently attending an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term. * Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered. * Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester. * New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
