Description

A Staff Accountant is needed for a career-building opportunity with Robert Half Full-Time Professional practice group. Our Full-Time Contract professionals tackle challenging, long term and highly visible client directed projects in the Columbus market that can vastly advance your career. Overall projects will vary but will be in the accounting and finance field.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Month-end, quarter-end, year-end close

  • Reconciliations of bank and general ledger

  • Creating and posting entries to the general ledger

  • Assist in financial statement preparation

  • Assist in other accounting functions; A/R, A/P and Payroll

  • Ad hoc accounting projects

Requirements

  • BS/BA Accounting

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong technical skills - particularly Excel using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP

Strong knowledge of multiple tier 1 ERP systems experience preferred (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Peoplesoft)
