JPMorgan Chase Sr. Operations Specialist I - Assumptions in Columbus, Ohio

Join our Mortgage Assumption Team as an Operations Sr. Specialist I, where you will have the opportunity to provide extraordinary service to customers during significant life events. This role offers a challenging and rewarding environment, where you will facilitating the transition of a loan to closure, working under tight timeframes with a high level of quality.

As an Operations Sr. Specialist I in the Mortgage Assumption Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers navigating significant life events such as marriage, divorce, or death. Your duties will include the creation of Disclosure and/or Closing Packages for Assumptions, adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement. Operating under strict deadlines, you will be expected to maintain high-quality work and have a solid understanding of the loan origination process, underwriting, and mortgage industry terms and conditions.

This is an in office 5 days a week role located in Columbus OH. This role does not offer immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, imaging, data entry and opening correspondence

  • Create and maintain loan files

  • Print and process mail

  • Provide coverage for any of the support roles, as dictated by absences or volume fluctuations

  • Monitor and update various system records

  • Communicate with external agents and internal colleagues to resolve issues and discrepancies

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Possess strong attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic office and computer skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Prior customer service experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
