Hiring for Multiple Shifts: (All applicants must have flexibility to work until the shift is completed and short notice call-ins) Must be able to work Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm until the new facility is launched. Shift Details/Compensation: 1st Shift: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Pay Range $29.37 - $36.71/hr. 2nd Shift: Mon - Fri 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Pay Range: $29.37 - $36.71/hr. + $0.50 Shift Differential Weekend Shift: Fri - Mon 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Pay Range: $29.37 - $36.71/hr. +$2.00 Shift Differential RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of various challenging electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment. Provide electrical support for all facility systems and equipment including but not limited to conveyors, A-frames, Printers, Strappers, Compressors, and other automated technologies. Demonstrate skills in all phases of facility maintenance including electrical troubleshooting. Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training. Ability to lead and train other facilities assistants. Communicate with and maintain relationships with vendors. Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of related experience Critical Skills: Experience with troubleshooting control systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics is required. Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems including power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS systems, compressors, strappers air handling units, and CRAC units. At least 2 years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both. Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on call. Applicants must be flexible with work hours and days, including holidays and short-notice call-in. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is desired. Windows XP/Windows 7 and work order experience is preferred Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations. Ability to lead, communicate, and motivate team members under normal and high-pressure periods due to system failures. Ability to communicate effectively between facilities team, vendors, operations, and IT. Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on facility systems. Education: Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field preferred.
