Description

Summary:

Responsible for supporting and contributing to strategic, data-related communications, literacy, and change management initiatives. This position blends data, strategy, communication, literacy, and change management skills to help evolve Huntington’s data culture and strengthen our ability to manage data quality and regulatory risk, better exploit analytics, and improve collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of an ongoing communications plan for the Enterprise Data group to enable the ability to “tell the story” with data.

  • Leverage internal communications templates, materials and channels for strategic collateral.

  • Contribute to presentations and maintain communication vehicles (e.g., Essentials, SharePoint) related to our data strategy and literacy program.

  • Contribute to training and change management plans for the adoption of an Enterprise Data mindset.

  • Promote a shared ‘data language’ relevant to all colleagues that will help colleagues be better equipped to optimally apply data to day-to-day work and support a mindset of data-driven decision making.

  • Ensure the development of on-line learning and workshops tie back to specific personas.

  • Ensure technology is leveraged for creative execution of Literacy efforts as well as CDAO related initiatives.

  • Apply a structured methodology and contribute to change management activities.

  • Assess the change impact and work with sponsors to help manage resistance; identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics.

  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.

  • Integrate change management activities into project plan.

  • Track and report issues.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 4+ years of experience on a large transformation effort, in strategy, process improvement, communications, and/or training, and of applied experience designing, solving, facilitating, and delivering business impact with data, analytics, and impactful communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of a change management methodology or process; experience with understanding of the Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.

  • Change management certification or designation desired; Prosci Certification a plus. Ability to works as a change agent across organizational boundaries.

  • Experience working in a data environment with experience in data strategy, data management, data quality, and/or data governance. Familiarity with data and analytics terminology and methodology.

  • Experience with learning and development strategies (ex: instructional design/content development/facilitation and delivery).

  • Experience with successfully partnering with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and achieve successful outcomes cross-functionally.

  • Background in project management and/or Agile methodology a plus. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate information to all levels, and the ability to strengthen, simplify and visually present complex information.

  • Excellent active listening skills.

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn additional systems/software.

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how to navigate organizational issues and challenges. Problem-solving mindset.
