POSITION: Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Columbus, Ohio, USA or Mannheim, Germany You will make an impact by.... Design, implement, and manage the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure using Azure DevOps. Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to promote DevOps best practices and ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications and services. Implement and maintain security, monitoring, and logging solutions, ensuring compliance with security best practices, policies, and standards. Actively identify, evaluate, and address potential risks, vulnerabilities, and performance issues in the CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure, and applications. Proactively monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, including Kubernetes clusters, cloud resources, and databases. Develop and maintain scripts and templates for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Mentor junior team members and participate in cross-functional efforts to enhance the overall Dev(Sec)Ops ecosystem. The talent we want to inspire has.. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Extensive experience working with DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, helm, and related technologies. Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and their associated managed services (preferably Azure for your requirements). Proficiency in programming or scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices. In-depth understanding of security best practices, including network security, access control, and secure development processes.
