This position is a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite work. Responsibilities Lead the architectural design and planning for projects within the industrial, semiconductor, and high-tech manufacturing sectors. Conduct comprehensive code analysis and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations. Oversee code conformance, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed established guidelines. Oversee and participate in peer reviews to maintain high-quality architectural standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions. Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members. Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure project compliance. Perform field verifications / site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction. Qualifications A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program. A Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing. The ability to lead a project team and manage the workload of multiple projects of varying complexity. Proven experience in code analysis and understanding of building codes and regulations (such as egress, fire-resistant assemblies, occupancy, and building types). Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Hazardous Production Materials (HPM) and chemical storage design principles and regulations. Experience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. Ability to troubleshoot design problems in the field. Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
