Summary:

The Business Banking Operations - Section Mgr 1 manages the daily activities for a functional area in addition to having direct reports. Serves as a subject matter expert for the team and will occasionally work in production as needed. Oversight is available and sweeping decisions would not be made independently in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Business Banking production of business loans with established Production, SLA & Quality goals, which includes the assignment of work to functional area team members.

  • Prepares, maintains and/or monitors reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as primary back up for their manager as needed for team huddles & meetings.

  • Resolves the more complex working problems.

  • Perform or review Quality Reviews for all colleagues on the team.

  • Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.

  • Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family.

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • 3+years’ experience with business or commercial lending in a centralized lending environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree

  • Previous management experience.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources; Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor; Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up; Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality.
