Type : Contract to hire

Requirements:

  • Previous technical writing experience in a manufacturing setting required; 2-3 years of experience preferred.

  • AS in STEM-related field, and/or commensurate experience in a manufacturing setting; BS preferred.

  • Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Effective time management and organizational skills to balance a dynamic workload.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, revise, and communicate updated Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) for cleaning and sanitation programs in an FDA-regulated food manufacturing facility.

  • Review, organize, and file completed sanitation forms and records.

  • Support Sanitation Management in the execution of continual improvement initiatives for sanitation programs, processes, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with hourly Sanitation and Production staff to support the implementation of new or updated SSOPs using hands-on training, One Point Lessons (OPLs), and Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).

  • Maintain a variety of forms and records for sanitation programs, including daily cleaning records, Clean-In-Place (CIP) system documentation, and the facility’s Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).

  • Conduct periodic audits of completed sanitation documentation, as assigned, to ensure it is complete and accurate to satisfy all applicable regulatory, customer, and internal company requirements.
