Elevance Health Sales Assistant III in COLUMBUS, Ohio

Title: Sales Assistant III

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The Sales Assistant III will be responsible for advanced analytical and administrative support to Group or individual sales force.

How you will make an impact:

  • Reviews incoming Request for proposals from Sales and/or Brokers for eligibility and participation requirements.

  • Verifies groups meet underwriting guidelines.

  • Prepares Decline to quote letters and sends to Broker/Sales Rep when group does not meet Underwriting guidelines.

  • Prepares quotes and selects product(s) and benefits to offer by analyzing benefits from benefit summaries or benefit grids received from broker.

  • Prepares proposals and submit to Underwriting.

  • Maintains communication with underwriting and sales rep until RFP has been completed and released.

  • Gathers, inputs, and tracks sales data.

  • Generates sales reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply: Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
