As the Recruiter you will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for ARC Industries. This position is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process. Other responsibilities include:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of full cycle recruitment process.
  • Creates position requisition in collaboration with department manager. Posts and communicates open position.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the position, industry standards, and the needs of the agency.
  • Interviews, selects, and extends offer for agency service level positions.
  • Collaborates with department director and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Coordinates and completes the candidate on-boarding processes including (pre-employment, background check, drug screens, physical, candidate new staff orientation and communication).
  • Ensure all hiring requirements are met prior to the scheduled orientation day.
  • Maintains candidate and position data in the applicant tracking system and/or other reporting systems.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Schedules interviews and oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process for program administration or other positions, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and agency policies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Two (2) years of experience of full-cycle recruitment experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
