Duties Include:

  • Understanding and adhering to established policies and procedures

  • Implementing the nursing care plan for each patient

  • Providing nursing services, treatments and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned

  • Initiating preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate

  • Reporting any signs or symptoms of reactions to treatments to the physician.

  • Teaching and counseling family of the patient regarding their nursing care needs

  • Maintaining accurate and complete records of observations, treatments and care

  • Participating in medical record audits

  • Attending staff meetings, patient care conferences and in-services

  • Taking on-call duty, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Submitting any changes in schedule to Director of Services/Nursing Supervisor daily

  • Participating in patient care conferences to discuss the need for involvement of other members of the health team

  • Preparing clinical and progress notes

  • Assisting the physician in performing specialized procedures

  • Preparing equipment and materials for treatments

  • Observing aseptic technique

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with no restrictions

  • Two years nursing experience preferred

  • One year experience with home care preferred

  • CPR certification, valid driver’s license, background check, and TB test (where geographically required)

*$8000 sign-on bonus is valid for applicants effective 1/1/24. Sign-on bonus is paid in four increments: $1000 is paid after RN has worked 3 months from start date. $2500 is paid after the RN has worked for 6 months, another $2500 is paid after

RN has worked for 12 months and another $2000 is paid out after the RN has worked 15 months from start date. RN’s must be active at the time of bonus payout to receive the sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid within 30 days of reaching

eligibility.
