Summary:

The Commercial Portfolio Manager III - Environmental Services, will manage a book of business greater than $100MM+ in commitments and/or outstandings, and/or support a specialty area in a Commercial lending relationship, i.e. Syndications, Large Corporate with a focus covering the Environmental Services sector. Please note: preferred locations are Ohio, California, Illinois and Colorado but open to remote anywhere in US

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Services, deepens, and retains assigned profitable customer relationships within the Environmental Services sector by pro-actively evaluating and mitigating associated business risks and opportunities, per established Huntington policies, procedures, and Guiding Principles.

  • Owns primary responsibility for the credit and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks.

  • Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio working directly with the Team Leader, Regional Commercial Management, and Regional Credit Officer.

  • Responsible for structuring credit solutions, managing complex bank relationships, credit underwriting and portfolio management duties.

  • As appropriate, assists in optimizing customer relationships working directly with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, and other team members to effectively grow fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue by presenting practical Huntington financial solutions to customers.

  • Manages delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base, portfolio reviews, specialized reporting, soft exposure annual reviews, criticized loans, etc.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7 years of related portfolio management experience

Requirements:

  • 10-years of diversified banking experience including portfolio management experience with a focus on Environmental Services, Waste Management Services or similar sector

  • Industry knowledge and an established networks within Environmental Services highly preferred

Compensation Range:

$90,000 -200,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
