STARTING HOURLY RANGE: $17-$18.50

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide solutions to members' financial needs by explaining Credit Union products and services. Cross-sell Credit Union products to meet the members' needs and perform basic transactions while meeting the BMI FCU service standards. Exhibits enthusiasm, friendliness, and demonstrate knowledge to build rapport with members. This position will perform all other related duties as assigned. The MSR position will be required to travel to assigned branch locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Process member transaction requests such as but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, and transfers of funds and wire transfers
  • Help members with basic inquiries about their accounts using the members' account history in the data processing system
  • Assist members with a variety of process changes to accounts
  • Develop, strengthen, and deepen member relationships
  • Responsible for own cash drawer and posting own daily cash transactions to and from the vault
  • Responsible for balancing daily work
  • Evaluate members' needs and explain Credit Union services and products; recognize cross- selling opportunities and track performance
  • Assist members in accessing safe deposit boxes
  • Forward completed Automatic Clearing House (ACH) and ATM items, debit and credit card disputes, and process stop payment requests (not involving fraud)
  • Provides operational support across various servicing platforms utilized by Member Services
  • Includes, not limited to, online account opening fulfillments, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) processing, and a variety of other support functions for quality control purposes as needed from various departments
  • Conducts quality control for internal processes performed within Member Services and other departments as needed
  • Understand and follow BMI FCU policies and procedures complying with federal regulations including, but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Anti Money Laundering regulations; USA Patriot Act; Office of Foreign Asset Control; Regulation CC; and Right to Financial Privacy Act

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

High school degree, GED, or equivalent required

Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred

Basic math skills

A clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance required

Ability to work a varied work schedule

Customer service focused

Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities

High attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office with competencies in Excel, general computer programs, and general office equipment
