What You'll Do * Develop and maintain backend services using .NET 6 * Design and implement APIs using the WebAPI framework * Work with Entity Framework Core for data access and management * Enforce a high standard of code quality and maintainability, keeping in mind scalability * Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience * Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality and encourage a culture of collaboration * Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software * Provide recommendations and execute improvements to varying processes and technologies * Continuously learn and stay up to date with advancements in backend development technologies and best practices What You'll Need Required: * 3-5+ years of experience in backend development * Proficient in .NET 6 and familiar with the .NET ecosystem * Strong experience with WebAPI framework and API design * Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core and ORM concepts * Knowledge of SQL and database design principles * Experience with version control systems, such as Git * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly Preferred * Experience with cloud platforms, Azure preferred * Experience with implementing and managing message queues * Understanding of microservices architecture * Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines * Prior experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development * Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven development Physical Demands * Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards * Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. * Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors Reasonable Accommodation Statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.
