Actalent Medical Laboratory Technician Or Medical Technologist in Columbus, Ohio

We are immediately hiring for a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist opening! This is a long-term career opportunities with opportunity for growth! This role will be performing testing on outpatient samples for a large hospital here in the Columbus area.

We are looking for someone with at least an Associates Degree focused in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) OR a Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences (or equivalent). We are open to both entry-level candidates with the degree and people with multiple years of experience; pay will be based on experience. ASCP Certification is preferred, but NOT required.

Description:

  • Performs medical laboratory testing on patient samples.

  • Will be working with hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, rapid testing, and other testing as needed.

  • Will perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing of patient samples (previous phlebotomy experience is not required)

  • Perform documentation and follow appropriate regulations

Qualifications:

  • Must have Bachelors Degree OR Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent

  • Do NOT need an ASCP Certification, although it would be a plus
