Baesman Group, a nationally recognized marketing services provider of direct-to-consumer and in-store marketing strategy and execution, is seeking a Kitting & Assembly Lead for our 2nd shift operations to assists the K&A Manger in ensuring that equipment is set up properly, production schedules are maintained, and production goals are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Train others within the department to run the equipment safely, achieve required product quality and at targeted production goals.

  • Operate equipment as required meeting our safety, quality, and production standards.

· Work safely to prevent accidents by keeping the area clean and free of any trip hazards. Also monitor others to ensure that they are practicing safe work habits.

· Develop new or improved methods for increased production.

· Provides any special instruction for upcoming jobs as required.

· Reports jobs completed and status of in-progress work to Supervisor or Department Manager.

· Keep up to date with current processes and make suggestions on tools or resources that will increase efficiency.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Ability to read and understand a job ticket and adhere to safety rules, as well as operating and maintenance instructions of various equipment.

  • Familiarity with basic mathematics (decimals, metric units) to understand dimensional requirements contained in the job ticket, and to make more complicated adjustments.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and be held accountable for the quality of work produced.

Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
