Michel Company, you will be joining the ranks of some of the finest professionals in the HVAC and Propane industry. Meeting with potential and existing customers, assisting in branch operations, learning new products, and keeping on top of current trends and technology from the industry. Every day presents a new adventure! Responsibilities: Achieve sales, gross profit dollars, and gross profit percentage as well as other assigned objectives in accordance with sales goals established by regional sales management and corporate sales management. Develop a relationship with customers by providing professional representation and assistance in all areas to improve customers' profits. Prepare an objective for each sales call, in advance. Practice the sales call before calling on the customer. Respond to customers' requests for assistance promptly and thoroughly. Timely and professionally prepare customer quotes per customer requirements and follow up with customer(s) until resolution. Attend and become active through involvement in local HVACR and LP Gas associations, committees and/or Board, offices, etc. Establish and maintain customer pricing based on market conditions. Timely communication to branch manager and branch inside sales team of all customer developments. Attend and participate in relative Company events, such as sales meetings, sales/manufacturing training classes, and other business-related gatherings. Maintain the highest ethical standards consistent with good judgment, company policy, and objectives. Represent the R. E. Michel Company in all phases of business, including contact with co-workers, manufacturing reps, as well as customers in a thoroughly professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Maintain a supportive, professional working relationship with all company personnel. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Education and Qualifications: Knowledge of HVAC and supplies is highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Meet deadlines and stay organized. Work independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Experience with Microsoft Office. Demonstrate a complete understanding of company specials and/or company marketing programs to confidently present the programs based on customers' needs and/or assigned goals.
