The Graham Family of Schools (TGFS) is looking for a High School Math Teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year. TGFS has a particular mission to urban students in Central Ohio preparing them for early college opportunities towards lifelong learning and informed citizenship. Fostering ownership and responsibility for their education prepares our students to be successful in college, the workplace, and other endeavors they undertake upon graduation.

Position Overview: Math Teacher
- As a graduation requirement, math courses prepare students for grade level numeracy, critical thinking and computation, and engaging in real world problem-solving.
- Responsible for teaching a full course load (six periods with one prep period daily) of math courses. Actual level of math will be determined with the math department. Options may include: Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Statistics, and other advanced math courses.
- Develops syllabus, grading expectations, course sequence, title and all course details in conjunction with the building leadership, department and counseling team.
- Develops a caring and nurturing classroom environment where all students can contribute to the community, learn, express questions/concerns/thoughts, and deepen their growth as a life-long learner.
- Follow building guidance regarding parental communication, classroom management norms, and PBIS expectations.
- With the building leadership and grade level teams, write, implement, and evaluate Crew lessons. Develop your Crew class culture such that the school's mission, vision and core values are reflected.
- Staff members often have additional responsibilities and duties to help the school function safely and effectively. This is at the discretion of the building leadership team and is fairly shared across the instructional team.
- Staff members will utilize many digital platforms to further their work, communicate with stakeholders, inform students of grades, etc.
