WEALTH MANAGEMENT (WM) OPERATIONS

Wealth Management Operations is a global organization operating in 11 cities across 7 countries insupport of Wealth Management with client assets of $2.4T, 6.6M client accounts, and 16KFinancial Advisors. The organization drives operational excellence by supporting business growth,enhancing the client experience, and improving operational efficiency with a strong foundation in riskand financial management through its member divisions; Chief Operating Office, Client Service Risk& Control, Capital Markets & Core Processing Operations, Product Operations & Account Services,Private Banking Operations, and Tax & Client Reporting Operations.

A Controls Director is responsible for reviewing share and money movement transactions, as well as any changes to the client's account (title, address, etc.). The approver is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the request, confirming that there are no fraud concerns, and confirming that the client has the shares/money available, if a transfer is being completed. Most of the day is spent reviewing and approving transactions. According to current Segregation of Duties policies, these functions must be done by a Morgan Stanley employee at the Director level or higher. The Controls Director will assist in tracking trends and errors by Operations professionals, and will provide some limited assistance with coaching and feedback.#LI-AC1
