JPMorgan Chase Financial Analysis, Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

Step into a dynamic role working in Consumer and Community Banking- Treasury Controllers that will give you the opportunity to gain insight into a wide spectrum of asset classes & financial/banking products.

As a Financial Analysis, VP on the Consumer Community and Banking-Treasure team, you will be in a role that offers visibility into various products across the bank as well as the unique opportunity to understand firm initiatives from a broad perspective. There is extensive partnership with colleagues within the various lines of businesses and Corporate functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Liquidity reporting for all CCB lines of business (Home Lending, Card Services, Consumer and Business Banking and Chase Auto) on forecast and actual results

  • Lead end to end Liquidity Reporting for business planning and stress testing cycles, including Risk Appetite, CCAR, Resolution and Recovery and annual Budget exercises

  • Tackle Ad-Hoc analysis across RWA/Liquidity/LP topics to support CCB and TCIO Treasury / Controller / P&A and CFO requests

  • Coordinate with leads within lines of business (LOB) Controllers, FP&A, Corporate Liquidity Management / Risk teams, and CFO groups on framework changes, new business initiatives, regulations, and other Corporate and senior management deliverables

  • Have oversight into control processes, promoting a team environment of continuous improvement and streamlining existing processes

Treasury is a function within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Finance organization that supports senior leadership in actively managing their balance sheet, Capital, Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Liquidity, interest rate risk (IRR), and funds transfer pricing (FTP). The CCB Treasury Product Controllers team is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of Treasury financials and controls, communicating CCB views of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, as well as annual budget / Outlook and stress testing (CCAR/Risk Appetite). It is a unique and critical mix of reporting, analytics and project management in an ever-changing regulatory environment

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • 6+ years of work experience, in financial services and financial forecasting

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Professional training in Finance/Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or other technical field

  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong technical capabilities or desire to learn Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or other related tools

  • Self-starting leader with strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills w. ability to interact with employees at all tenure level

  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, results-driven, sometime stress/high pressure environment

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of execution against deliverables

  • Strong judgment, professional maturity, proactive, has the confidence to challenge the status quo and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously

  • Control/efficiency mindset and drive to challenge and change

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Experience in balance sheet and financial analysis preferred

  • Leadership ability, with experience managing one or more direct reports is a plus

  • Knowledge of retail banking and products, and Hyperion Essbase a plus
