Huntington National Bank Business Lending Performance Manager (Branch footprint) in Columbus, Ohio

Description

The Business Lending Performance Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the business lending product/process strategy within the branch network.

This role involves managing daily operations, developing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They will be focused on driving results within the Branch Channel. They will focus on the coaching and skill development of our Regional Manager and District Manager teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Mass small business go to market sales strategy development. 

Evaluate performance & reporting needs, Identify trends and areas for improvement in lending processes

Create performance improvement plans and lead implementation of tactics partnering with product manager/directors. 

Support small business partnership protocol

Collaborate with product managers and marketing on types of outbound calling campaigns and execution plans. 

Attend regional leadership meetings to gain insights on process improvements and implement with product managers. 

Project thought leadership & support

Direct ‘segment leader’ program

Provide strategy feedback on sales process and playbooks as it related to business payment products. 

Partner with sales enablement team to ensure reporting and support documents are updated and aligned to strategy. 

Basic Qualifications:

  - Bachelor’s degree in Business

  - Minimum of 5 years of experience in small business lending and credit experience

  - Proven experience in managing teams and driving operational performance with a minimum of 5 years sales management .

Preferred Qualifications:

  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  - Proficient in financial analysis and performance management.

  - Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.

  - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Travel 25% or more

Compensation Range:

$175,000-180,000 annual salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
